Having not realized that sometimes the same cons happened more than once (shocker, I know), I missed Detour's second year. So, the following year, I ended up going with two school friends. She had already attended the whole weekend, the other and I were only able to go Sunday. We got there just as the tables for making the badges shut down. She went off on her own and found two people that were just leaving, thus no longer needed their badges. We bought them for $25 a piece and began to peruse the con. It was 2 in the afternoon, so there wasn't a lot going on at the time. We made our rounds in the DR and AA, then stopped to take pictures of each other. Spent two or three hours there before leaving and going home. Once again, I was in my craptacular InuYasha cosplay, but as a young'un with no job, I had no money to work towards another cosplay. I knew I would make it work for my next con. As a con experience, this one wasn't too bad, albeit way too short.
